Judith Levin Wall Art

Judith Levin loved art from a tender age and her paintings began to be collected when she was just 15 years old. She developed a technique in pure painting, in which she freely built classical compositions directly onto the canvas in paint without using planned or drawn outlines. Judith’s early work is comprised of a series of flower paintings in which she applies this technique, reflecting the free and natural compositions of the flowers themselves. Her paintings are noted for their contrast of texture, and for their almost weightlessness petals against the solidity of the jugs in which they are, and the play of color and light. Her early flower paintings are published by Solomon and Whitehead in London. Judith’s continuing series of still life paintings reflects the same freedom of technique and given into an expression of simplicity of form. These are silent, contemplative paintings taken from direct observation.

A Selection of her exhibitions include European Exhibition of Fine Art, Tokyo, Omell, Albemarle St., London, Solomon and Whitehead, London, Women of Achievement, Prelude To A Kiss, Corporate Show, Leeds, FKAA, Leeds, Pfizer Inc., New York, Canadian Art Prints, Richmond, Canada, Chetkin Gallery, New Jersey, Craghead Gallery, Carmel, California, Design Block, London, The Bingley Gallery, Leeds City Art Gallery, Royal College of Art, London, among others. Judith’s paintings are found in private and corporate collections internationally. Her art has been to many galleries and museums all over the world. She’s considered as one of the best artists in Europe and beyond.
