Paul Kenton Wall Art

Paul Kenton is a professional artist who offers his clients a new genre of modern cityscape art. In his art fluid color, dripped lines and free shapes capture the essence of each location. The paintings reflect the exciting pace of the city and emphasize furious movement and artificial light in the modern day urban jungle. He uses a free-flowing style with various media and strives for his paintings to evoke particular emotion or create a mood, whether it be colorful sunset across Manhattan skyscrapers or a misty dawn in London. The artist was born in the late sixties in Derby, but spent much of his early years along the coast of North Devon where his family relocated to when he was just 8 years old. While in Derby, he developed a lifelong fascination with the sea, and spent his early years learning how to surf. Kenton also showed an interest in the arts and in anything with an artistic flare from an early age and he even managed to win a national coloring competition when he was twelve years old. Kenton was an avid artist throughout his school life, and he became an expert in the use of watercolors. This made him to start painting scenes of the Devonshire coast. Later, he applied to join Art College, but was ultimately left disappointed because of his poor English grades. Discouraged, he left painting and joined Stafford University where he studied engineering. After his graduation, he worked as a draughtsman, and painting just became a mere hobby.
