Kiff Holland Wall Art

Kiff Holland completed his formal art training at the Johannesburg School of Art and at the University of Witwatersrand. Holland’s mother encouraged his art when he was young. He’s today is an established artist who’s based in Canada. He immigrated to Canada in 1975. After he settled in British Columbia, he became one of the finest artists in West Coast. Holland has received several awards for his work from the Northwest Watercolor Society, the Federation of Canadian artists, and the American Watercolor Society. While pursuing his passion for painting, he has also mentored and taught many amateur and professional artists through his work as an instructor in the Illustration, Design, Elements and Applications (I DEA) Program at Capilano University in North Vancouver and in workshops in the United States, Canada, and Europe.

Holland has exhibited with the Royal Society of British Artists and the British Institute of Painters in Watercolor. He’s a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, an achievement that only a few Canadian artists have attained. He’s been exhibiting at the Harrison Galleries in Vancouver since 1987, and his art is in major corporate and private collections throughout the world. He has a gift for making the familiar to be fascinating and for making ordinary things to become extraordinary. His ability to see beauty in everyday life; his passion for transforming his observations into art; and his cherished knowledge of the power and effects of light have led to a diverse and large body of work. He paints in egg tempera, watercolor, and oil.
