Sally Evans Wall Art

Sally Evans studied graphic design at the University of Carolina, from where she graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Graphic Design and Fine Art. She’s known for art that’s characterized with expressive colors and bold brushstrokes. Her art is in many collections, both private and public. She started painting using watercolors, but has since transitioned to acrylics, pastels, and mixed media. She has participated in many art shows where her art have been received warmly by the viewers, both artists and non-artists. Sally covers a wide range of subjects, including beautiful beaches, deserts, and dogs, among others. Her art are easy to recognize among the works of other artists because they stand out. Her unconventional use of color is loved by many viewers.

They also love the way she uses space and graphic elements in her work. When she paints animals, it's often as a way to take a break from her landscape paintings, commonly adding some whimsy to them. She loves pattern design and her patterns are colorful and gorgeous. After completing her studies, she embarked on creating graphic art, but that didn't excite her much. It's during a trip to the southwest desert that she fell in love with painting after she saw the kind of art that artists were making there, involving dramatic use of color. Her art can be used to decorate any room, from children’s rooms to adult rooms and offices. Sally’s works are collected by Tampa Bay Magazine, Coca Cola, and US Airways.
