Mary Beth Thorngren Art Prints

When Mary Beth Thorngren was three years old, her mother gave her the easel that she had used in college. Mary Beth still uses this easel to paint her vibrant and youthful abstracts and floral still lifes. "I feel my work portrays a sense of lyrical freedom. The bright colors and scratchy lines almost have a child-like quality." Mary Beth received her B. F. A. from East Texas State University. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Mary Beth now lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her studio is located in an old building downtown, where she can shut herself off from the world with just her paintings and her little brown dog, Sienna. Mary Beth's original works can be seen at art shows throughout the country.
