Gene McInerney Art Prints

Gene McInerney, a primarily self-taught artist, has achieved national recognition for his oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. He finds his subject matter - people, places, objects - in his everyday surroundings in the farmlands of eastern Pennsylvania. He has maintained a lifelong commitment to portraying the commonplace in new and novel ways while conveying a nostalgic mood and poignant sense of the past. The jewel-like, precisely rendered surfaces of these unique compositions reflect mastery of his chosen media. McInerney's work has been widely exhibited and collected throughout the United States. His paintings have been shown at the Uptown Gallery and the Salmagundi Club in New York City. His work has also been featured in a number of publications including The Artist's Magazine, and has won a number of awards from national juried exhibits.
