Antony Squizzato Wall Art

Antony Squizzato (Born in 1975) began a full-time painting career in 2013. He art displays a prominent graphic style, with noticeable chromatics and a full discharge of energy. He had worked for 15 years in the digital advertising industry as a creative director before he became an artist. Squizzato reached the limits of the system and finally felt the urgency of his own creation so as to realize a vital need of freeing his imagination. He has been described a polymorphous artist, who’s a permanent seeker. He has a free mind, always searching for meaning to flee from the dictatorship of instant information. His interest is to observe a pessimistic vision produced by a sterile marketing world. The artist uses the current technology, rationalized, digitized, as well as oil techniques from the old masters.

Squizzato evokes the coming expiration of unlimited growth, the end of an era, and globalized consumption. He constantly challenges himself because he likes to learn new things. He’s inspired by movements that have always influenced; Pop-Surrealism Bauhaus, Cubism, and Constructivism and Suprematism. Most of his works depict a twofold society of loneliness and networks, the transfiguration of identity through devices and screens. In all his paintings, viewers will find no one way visions or sanctions, but a call for wandering imagination, free will, and the starting point for discussions. Squizzato decided to establish Pop-Constructivism after he found no existing genre that could classify his work. This was in response for his need for a change and the enjoyment of owning.
