Christopher Cuseo Wall Art

Christopher Cuseo (Born 1979) was born in riverside California. He studied film, art and design at UCLA from where he graduated in 2003. At the university, he absorbed the acute attention to form and color associated with paintings and sculptures of Vasa Muhich, subsequently refining his own conceptual and visual vocabulary that emerged through his focus on allegorical paintings exploring how the stance and posture of the female form can evoke feelings of emotional affliction. His art can be found in private and public collections both in the United States and abroad. He currently lives and works in New York, Los Angeles, and Sydney. Cuseo's visually attractive pieces of art reflect personal experiences that occurred during the development of his artistic process. He has exhibited in galleries in Melbourne, Sydney and Los Angeles since 2006.

He uses his cinematic style to create a strong sense of acquaintance which allows his viewers to go on board on their own personal journey of interpretation, bringing to mind those raw sensations that usually get buried with the past memories. Cuseo credits his awareness of color and form and conceptual vocabulary to Vasa Mihich, whose work had great influence on him during college. As a fine artist, Cuseo has made a mark creating large scale allegorical works which have been exhibited across the country as well as internationally. Currently he’s working on large scale oil and watercolor paintings and he’s started a new body of sculptures. His art is in great demand. That’s why many collectors stock them in large numbers.
