Christine Triebert Wall Art

Christine Triebert is especially drawn to botanical forms and shapes she finds on the island of Vieques and in the local Vermont landscape, where she spends time each winter. In her style, she employs a variety of custom techniques that she developed expressly for each new body of work. A visit to her studio located along the Rock River reveals the variety of processes she uses in making her art, and a view of her unique working environment. From camera-less paper negatives she exposes in the darkroom, to large scale works she does on hand-coated aluminum, to mixed media images on fabric, her goal in photo-art-making has been to create unique, compelling and personal imagery. In her works, the qualities inherent in the process are intrinsic to the concept of the work. Her original prints are held in many collections including the Bank of America, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and The Ritz Carlton Hotel, and Polo Ralph Lauren.

Her photographs have been licensed by major publishers in the United States and Europe including the Art Group, United Kingdom; Graphique de France, Boston; and Aperture, New York. Her photographs include allegorical imagery, portrait, still life, and landscape and are inspired by many sources – from spiritual teachers and texts, to her background in graphic design, to the ever-changing natural world. Her work has been exhibited in shows and galleries at the NY Photography Show, throughout New England, at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show and in interior design showrooms in LA and NY.
