Helene Bamberger Wall Art

French photographer Hélène Bamberger (Born 1956) was born in Paris. She debuted in photography in 1979 and joined the Gamma2 photography agency in 1980. In the same year, she met Marguerite Duras in Trouville-sur-Mer, France and the two walked together every afternoon during which time, she made photographs. From 1980 to 1983 she exhibited her work at the Centre Georges-Pompidou. She became a freelance photographer in 1982, and founded Odyssey2 photography agency in 1989. From 1980 to 1994, she worked closely with the "photography artist and writer" by photographing, among others Darrieussecq Marie or Jeanne Moreau3, Jean Echenoz, Ellroy, Modiano, and Deleuze. She also worked closely with Marguerite Duras2 practice. Her art has been admired by many and this has made her to get many commissions.

In 1994, she worked with Cosmos agency and with internationaux2 and major French magazines. The trade shows she has attended and participated in include Land of Islam, Tuareg, Momes, Jerusalem Sister, and Marguerite Duras among others. She attended a solo exhibition at Magic Cinéma, Bobigny, France, and a group exhibition at Le Photojournalisme à Paris. Helene loves her work and believes that’s what she was meant to do in her life. Her art has found its way into many people’s hearts, and they are stocked by many collectors around the world because they are in great demand. Her art has appeared in many publications among them Marguerite Duras, Marval, National Geographic, Olivier Frébourg, Normandy, just to mention a few. She has many faithful followers who greatly inspire her.
