Giulio Lurissevich Wall Art

Even though he’s always had a strong passion for images since his childhood, Giulio Lurissevich began working as an illustrator and graphic artist in 1998. Lurissevich is a self taught artist and he lives in Pordenone, a small city near Venice. After his studies in law he came back to his first passion - making pictures. He discovered making digital images through photography and computers, another love of his which he avidly pursued during his first years as an artist, along with music. (Over the years, Lurissevich has sang and played guitar in different punk rock bands). He started out as a graphic designer, and later became an illustrator. His inspiration comes from music and people, especially women; they energize him and stimulate his imagination. Lurissevich is driven by instinct but he’s very severe with his work. He will stop working on an image only when he recognizes himself in the picture. Most of the times, he doesn’t begin with a precise project in mind, but he rather allows things to develop as he draws.

When he represents people he works mainly in Illustrator, but he loves playing and drawing with geometries as well, with colors and volumes; for that, he says, Photoshop is perfect. The artist has received excellent feedback from abroad, mainly from Germany, the UK, Canada and the USA. This has given him the energy to continue working and believing in what he does. At the moment he specializes in beauty, lifestyle and fashion illustration. He’d love to work for the music industry as well. Over the years he’s made many posters and flyers for raves/concerts, and independent music festivals, using different graphic styles.
