Rocco Sette Wall Art

Rocco Sette has worked as an independent professional photographer for over 2 decades and keeps participating in seminars concerning photography up to this day. The main focus of his photography work is the wild animals in the African Savanna. Ever since his childhood photography and nature were a central part in his life. His father, Vincenzo, gave him his first camera at the age of 14. His love for nature and travelling combined with the creativity in his work behind a camera made him the artist he is today. With his camera he tries to catch the natural behavior of the animal in their habitat with great respect toward nature and animals. These last few years have seen him specialize in animal photography and he now works manly as an animal photographer, both domesticated animals (such as horses, cats and dogs) and wild beasts.

Almost like under a spell, his travels keep bringing him back East Africa’s wild animal resorts. Ever since he first set his foot on the East African soil, he knew that it is not only filming and photographing, but much more and more important the images become messengers to the people to preserve and protect these few remaining “paradises.” He emphasizes several times a year this very important issue by slide and film presentations. Sette developed a unique process that he’s using to produce high-quality works that help convey his inner feelings about his subjects. His images resonate well with a diverse group of collectors and viewers of all ages.
