Edie Fagan Wall Art

Edie Fagan is a Winter Park native who paints in a loose, spontaneous manner. She’s well known for her book Adored Dogs and her dog portraits. The book contains stories and portraits of 61 of the most delightful pups. Whether her subject is a watercolor street scene or a mixed media abstract, her bold selections of value and color produce an interesting result. She has studied painting with nationally and internationally known artists who’ve had a great influence in her artwork. She holds a degree in Art from Queens University in Charlotte and has been honored with signature membership of the Florida Watercolor Society and The National Watercolor Society. Edie was the poster artist for the 2005 Winter Park’s Doggie Art Festival, the 2006 Winter Park Autumn Art Festival and the 2011 Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival. She’s represented by Florida www.BeOnPark.com, 152 South Park Avenue, Winter Park, Be On Park.

Her award-winning paintings have appeared in magazines and newspapers, and are treasured in galleries, institutions and many clients’ homes worldwide. Though her passion for dogs is very strong, her favorite subjects are urbanscapes, whether in the Winter Park or the Bahamas. As a child, Edie took summer art-camp classes, and at the college she “focused on drawing, design, pottery, printmaking and art history. She took up watercolors in 2001, after her and calls Pat Weaver, Pasco County artist her mentor. Edie continues to produce high quality art and is a source of inspiration to many upcoming and established artists.
