Mermaids are popular in many cultures and portrayed in many different ways. They may be evil, sweet, or a brilliant mix of both. All these are captured in mermaid art. Most of these artworks though show the sweet and beautiful side of these mermaids. This is why they are so captivating. The most enchanting part of mermaid art is the colors that accompany them. The combination of blue and green depicting the deep sea where they are believed to reside is what makes it mystical and majestic.
